BEACH PARTY:
Last year the club had a beach party theme.
COUNTRY FUN:
Stetson Club members like to dress up and dance
to live country music.
CELEBRATING it's 20th year, the Stetson Social Club is a non-profit social club for people who love
listening and dancing to live country rock music.
The club hosts bands and dances every second and fourth Friday of the month at the Dairy Flat Hall, corner of State Highway 17 and Postman Rd, Dairy Flat, at 8pm to 11.30pm. Dance nights are open to everyone, so visitors are welcome to check it out. Supper is served at 10pm, with tea and coffee, and a licensed bar.
"Hanker not for Nashville, for we have our own Opry right here in Dairy Flat," says club member Susan Brennan-Hodgson."It's just a little old hall sitting in the wop-wops. Just like the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, we have hosted the most amazing musicians and entertainers.
"In its 20th year our Stetson Club has survived many changes," she says.
New members who like to have fun are welcome.
